SUMMARY
A bit of a masterclass in interactive motion design as a side-project for Traxon customers to play with at an exhibition stand.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
I was tasked with the rather vague job of "create something fun and interactive to grab clients attention at our up-coming trade show".
I worked with my line manager to come up with various ideas that might be worth exploring. At the time, motion design was starting to gain traction with the growing popularity of HTML5 and CSS3 etc, so I suggested that maybe we can come up with a microsite which clients can play with via the computers at the stands and act as a conversation piece for the sales reps to chime in.
THE FINISHED PIECE
There's good news and there's bad news here. The bad news is that after a lot of initial development for the animated homepage on my local machine, the rest of the project was developed directly onto a website CMS (Wordpress) and that website has been out of action for years...which means I don't have the full interactive website to show you. However the good news is that I do have a 95% complete homepage that I've now hosted on my own server to show you. It's not responsive as it was only intended for desktop use at the time and it works great in Google Chrome, so go on and click the link below to have a play.
